Grodd is a super-intelligent gorilla from Gorilla City, a community of hyper-gorillas hidden by man with advanced technology. While the gorillas have been peaceful, Grodd sought to lead his people and show the world the most advanced life forms on the planet. Grodd took the throne of Gorilla City using is mind control powers and was looking to attack the world of man. Flash accidentally found his way to Gorilla City and was able to disrupt Grodd's mind control and thereby created an enemy for life.
